The mission of this site? Simply put, to help you learn. There are very few sites out there that do a thorough job of teaching, as well as give practice to reading EKGs. As a student, you should have endless opportunities to help you practice what you are learning. Hopefully this site will give you that practice, and help you become more confident in reading rhythms. As you will see, most sites will only have one tracing for each rhythm, but that only helps you memorize which answer belongs to which rhythm. To accurately interpret, you need to remember the rules, and be able to apply them. There is no "textbook rhythm" out there in the real world. The practice rhythms on the site are copies from real patients. So expect that they will not be easy, but instead will have wandering baselines, artifact, and some may be just plain confusing. This site will have continuously changing strips, and that will only help you out in the end. As the site builds, it will have more on learning and praticing 12-Lead EKGs, but for now it is just 1 lead strips.
